PHOTO REQUEST - Native American

I’m taking a gamble that maybe one or two people here have shots from, or maybe can refer me to other shooters, that would have appropriate coverage. This is for a book project…

(5)Peyote Ceremony (historic or modern)

(6) Grass Dance (historic & modern)
(7) HIstoric images of dances with rattles, drums or flute
(8) HIstoric images of Yu’pik mask being worn

  • All historical images:
    (9) Person/people wearing Navajo rug or Navajo chief wearing a chiefs
    blanket
    (10) People wearing ‘intestinal or gut’ parka. Arctic/central Yu’pic area
    (11) Person doing quill work
    (12) Person beading
    (13) Silversmith or person doing turquoise jewelry work
    (14) qasgi, or men’s community houses inYup’ik villages *

(15) ZUNI salt lake landscape (modern full colored photograph).
(16) Beauty still life shot) of fresh Rosehips.
(17) Photo of Southwestern chillis being harvested. This can be close ups of hands picking chillis or a landscape of a chilli field. Or close up of chilli plant with chillis. Prefer a horizontal format as opposed to vertical.
(18) Photos of berries being harvested (modern and historic). Northwest
and Alaskan coast. eg. cranberries & wildberries

(19) Historic images of buffalo hunting or ranching
(20) Historic image of clamming/shellfish collecting.
(21) Historic image of Utility baskets being used

It’s a large format coffee-table style book, being custom published for a non-profit Gov’t org specifically related to Native Americans. It is a detail study of native culture, crafts, art, cooking, dances, etc..
