Ajmer Dargah Sharif

Be Aware,

Foreign photographers are no longer welcome in the Dargah Sharif in Ajmer India as they pose a serious security threat.. a statement oficially given by the chief Nazim.

I spent three days in getting a permission and even thought Ive been there many times , and even with publishers and journalists and even a minister speaking in my behalf it was only after great difficulty and with big dislike a was given a 3 day pass.

I find this rule very discrimatory as there nare plenty of people walking around with mobile phones photagraphing.

People should be aware of this if they wat to shoot pictures in ajmer. as they can loose a lot of time
