portable flash lighting

question a cheap and good set portable flash lighting (flash with battery)?

2 x cheap light stands
2 x umbrellas
2 x clamps (these thingys: http://www.zenit-camera.com/umbrella_holders_1081.htm)
2×580ex /SBs /cheap genric flash
and some alien bees/ ST-E2/ pocket wizard

but spend a bit of time on strobist for invaluable tips and pointers. good luck
