what tower do you have? the grey one or the blue&white? in any case you need a pci-card.

I think the one I’ve got in my B/W at home is a Belkin F5D 7000, works perfectly with airport in OS X at least. Make sure the one you buy has OS 9 drivers if you still run that on your rig.

@Imke: the adapter you linked to is only for the early generation iMacs and possibly some of the powerbooks.

I have the blue and white.. i looked up pci card and Belkin F5D-7000 on macwireless.. no results.. do i need an adapter.. then a card? is it the adapter which is hard to find? or is the old card (OS9) is scarce too?

No, you just need a PCI card.
This card will get you going in OS X

You basically just drop it into one of the empty PCI slots in your computer.
Finding one with OS 9 drivers is more tricky, and it looks like is either or, so pick your OS carefully.
