581 Back when we launched "Airports":/airports we allowed members to submit new airport listings themselves, and things got a little messy. We've now cleaned these up; the IATA link next to your location should now be more accurate. As always, when you're editing a Waypoint, you can specify your nearest airport by IATA code. These are the three-letter codes used to identify airports, such as <acronym title="Los Angeles International Airport">LAX</acronym>, <acronym title="O'Hare International Airport">ORD</acronym>, or <acronym title="LaGuardia International Airport">LGA</acronym>. Tip: Certain metropolitan areas with multiple airports have group IATA codes -- for example, "NYC".
