<body>Seems like the D1 and D2 AC adapter prongs are identical except for an extra well-placed piece of plastic on the D2. Preventing the EH-4 from fitting. Crafty Nikon trying to get me to buy the EH-6 adapter.

Anyone try cutting the D1's EH-4 AC adapter cord end to fit into the D2? Seems simple but I want to make sure the electrics are similar - don't want a flaming camera in my hand.

I'm trying not to buy yet another AC adapter. Thanks.
