Anyone been to Honduras lately?

I’m wondering about crime (I have no money for insurance for my gear) and I also heard that kidnappings are common! I guess anyone walking the streets with a DSLR looks like they have money… which compared to them is the case anyway. So any comment from someone who’s been there recently is welcome! Thanks.
