Best thing about the EOS 3 is the autofocus controled by your eye. So much better than any other AF I’ve used. Frame image as you want, flick eye to where it need focusing and click. I bought it in preference to an EOS 1 for that and other reasons.
40 rolls of film per battery too. Though I always used rechargables in the grip and lithium as back up unless travelling very light.
Though it has to be said a 20D or 5D is actually more ergonomic inspite of the more features as to swap between manual, AP + SP you have to push various buttons to cycle thru a menu and those three modes are not next to each other either for some bizarre reason!

Jessie: by the way (i forgot to mention today when posting) how profound (grief stricken and tender-wise) your photo series about the heroin addicts is…..for that alone, 2 posts a day should be granted by Teru! :)))…bob

Jessica, the eos-3 is fine, except if you actually work hard with it, in my experience. I have two, that are dead. had the things serviced bunches of times. not well sealed, disappointing.

I would suggest you get eos-1 cameras. less expensive. very good.

best, stephen
