Assistant for Christopher Anderson

Before we get any ridiculous discussion about the exploitation of assistants, yes, there will be payment albeit badly (economic crisis, you know), and it is short term. But I need someone to help out in my studio during the next week to 10 days. You don’t need high end skills, but if you have appropriate working knowledge of a mac, photoshop, and how to use the subway it would be helpful. If you DO have some high end skills, please contact me also.
The most important qualifications are that you are self-motivated, eager to learn, and you can handle figuring things out and move quickly to get it done.
This MIGHT develop into something longer term if you are the situation is right. But for now it is just for a short time to help me finish a project.

There’s nothing ridiculous about paying your assistants Christopher, in fact, that would be the exact opposite of ridiculous.
What’s ridiculous is not paying your assistants, at all.
Show a little class next time before you try to frame a legitimate discussion as “ridiculous.”
It’s insulting to the community.

OKAY i have basic knowledge of the subway . I have knowledge of Mac And some photoshop I wouldn’t claim excellence in PS but a working knowledge . Plus i have been looking for work in NYC . If it doesn’t work out that you need me now . keep me in mind for later .

Hi Kiana! Nice to hear from you. How are your pictures coming? If I teach a workshop next year in Toronto, I will insist that you be my assistant.
