Back to film
|
I’m back to shooting film, partly 6X6 with a Yashicamat and Mamiya C220.
Also just bought a Leica M3 for B&W and a Nikon F3 for colour slide and work with prime lenses.
I have a little project in the pipeline this autumn/winter with B&W film, 4"X5" view camera and the Norman mists.
I’ll keep anyone posted about my developments if they are interested.

Hey ANdrew,
Stumbled upon this. I too have started with 4×5 and 6×6 again. How is your project progressing?
Cheers,

Hi Ari,
My project is about to start only! Although the Norman mists have been happening for several weeks already.
I just bought a pack of B&W 4X5" film last week to get ready for the proj. Now I need to figure how to load the beast and use it, it has instruction manuals so should be OK! How are your projects going? What do you shoot?
So far I’ve mostly been using the M3 with B&W and colour neg. The results are superb although it takes practice getting used to the rangefinder action and focusing. I never knew changing systems would be so different! Have also done some portraiture work with the 6X6 Yashicamat, I enjoyed using it and got some good results.
