Beirut Project

Hi all,

I’m looking for a current or recent photo essay on beirut that is both strong and unique. It doesn’t have to be about the big issues, but could be about a group of friends, or it could be an abstract look at a sub-culture there. I’m looking for something intimate….I know that sounds vague but please suprise me.

It would be for publication in Skin Magazine, a new english language arts/fashion/design magazine that distributes in amman, beirut, and dubai. Would probably run around 8 pages.

I recommend trying Ed Giles(lightstalkers member) I’m working on an exhibition with him at the moment, and he’s just returned from Iran, Syria, Palestin and Lebanon. I know he has some cool shots of Beirut that you may be interested in.
