best place to find hasselblad digital backs (v-system) in nyc

i’d love to find a gently used one that won’t cost an arm and/or leg.

If your dead set on hassy I got nothing.

However, if you just need a back that will mount v system, call Dave Gallagher over at capture integration. Not in NYC but those folks know their stuff.

If you call the customer support number on the website they can put you in touch with the rep for nyc. He knows of someone who is selling a 22mp back I think. Also fotocare on 22nd street has some demo units for sale. Ask for Richard.

@matt: thanks, but i think i’m keyed in on the hasselblad digital back. isn’t there a cord that has to be connected to the lens when using a phase one or leaf back with a hasselblad? also, i just assume there are less light leaks and the back and body work better when they’re manufactured by the same company…no?

@jonathan: i thought the v-system only took a 16, 39, or 50 mp back?

i am going to shoot some film too, but am going to rely on the digital back more…i think.
