best pix from lebanon

I haven’t seen many pix from Lebanon (haven’t had the chance) but the pix that Mohammed Zaatari from the AP took of kids in a hospital are outstanding imho, because unlike most humans, pix of kids generally don’t work on me, but in this case, they did. Really put the shivers through me. Powerful stuff.

A couple of days ago some Australian papers had pics of lots of Israeli kids writing slogans & messages on artillery shells before firing, the only credit being AP…. agency pics tend to be pretty generic but these ones really struck me, very surreal.

those kids are going to be charming little citizens when they grow up.thats the sort of photo shoot the sun newspaper(i use the term newspaper loosely) got up to during the falklands war.

here’s an intresting story from a blogger about that pictures of kids writing slogans on artillery. Adds a little perspective to this picture which I found to be a little disturbing when I first saw it in a belgian newspaper (without caption of course)
