Budget for a reporting project

Hello everyone, I would like to get an idea on the format of a budget for a reporting project.
I was commissioned by a magazine to write an article and I was asked to submit a budget for that assignment.

Can you please guide me to write and submit a good budget?

they’re just trying to get an estimate of how much it’s going to cost. your budget just needs to list expected costs for lodging, transportation, any translators/guides/assistants/meals (usually a per day estimate) – separate from this is whatever you are negotiating as payment for your work as a journalist.

Do some internet searching to see how various sites suggest handling this. Take a look at whether or not journalists in your region have any sort of organization that can provide some advice and idea about prevailing rates.
