Me too I’m on the side of “how about more details about yourself”. Several photogs here and I were seduced two years ago, by a collective call “Latitude magazine”. It all start here with an advice like yours. It end up that the guy who got us in his project, run away with our photos and we never heard of him since. So please, if your serious, give us all the necessary details.

Hello Emily, I am building a team of international street style photographic print & web base magazines for a top South East Asia photographer. Publishers do not necessarily need to specialize in street style, so long as they have enough of sense of style to select appropriate pay scale.

This is a great opportunity for a documentary publication about travel and is looking to fund a photog in need of cash. I will accept cash bank deposits only before assignment. Again print or web base are both okay. I am particularly interested in coverage of the following locations.

You Pick the spot.
Anywhere you want.
Now or Tomorrow.
Even on a Spacecraft.

Thank you all for your responses. A few answers to your notes/questions:

1. Yes, I meant Montreal. My apologies for the typo.

2. Yes, any city in all of the continent of Africa. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it is also a territory where we currently do not have any photographers. I recognize that it is an entire continent.

3. As our site is relaunching in August as a standalone spin off from said major magazine, I am not putting it in writing on the internet until it is formally announced. I would be happy to provide more details if you PM me.

Also, please note that I am looking for street style (think Sartorialist, Mr. Newton, Tommy Ton) and not street photography.

Oh, and to clarify the pay, we are building slideshows of 20 images by the city. For example, one “Street Style from Tokyo” slideshow would contain 15-20 slides. Our budget is $300 US flat for each slideshow. The images would be embargoed for one month from date of publication.

I like to propose – street photo essays from Indian Himalayas. Major places like Dharamsala – the exile home of Dalai Lama and thousand of Tibetans in exile. Street photos have subjects like culture, people, religion, nature, exploration, Himalayas.

Also the city of Leh in the cold Himalayan region of Ladakh in India. I have nice street photos from Leh Ladakh to suit the magazine.

Exclusive story on Chitkul which is India’s last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border; the Indian road ends here in the Indian Himalayan region gives a glimpse of the people [the tribe, which is Buddhist ] living in the highest region. [ people, culture, living and traditions.] The political importance of the place that it is also the last village on the old Hindustan-Tibet trade route. Chitkul is practically the last point of the famous Kinner Kailash Parikrama as one can hitch a hike from here onwards. The valley is extremely beautiful, on the left bank of the Baspa River are snow-clad mountains and on the right bank the whole terrain is full of apple orchids and wooden houses. Guess by now you think we are all a pretty cynical bunch, Emily? For the most part you’d be right considering what time and effort it takes to get images…and how easy it is to not receive payment.

I’m in southern Brazil and can easily get to Buenos Aires or Rio and everywhere in between.
