Calibrated print lab in Mexico?
|
I’m looking to do some color printing in Mexico on any archival-quality paper — could be photo process (such as Fuji Crystal Archive) or inkjet, but the main thing is that I’m looking for a color-calibrated lab so that I don’t need to do test prints every time.
Does anyone know of a good color-calibrated lab like that? Especially one that shares its ICC profile? I’m in Mexico City, but I don’t mind ordering from elsewhere in the country.
I’m also looking for a lab in Mexico that prints on cotton canvas.

To answer my own question, I think I’ve found one: Emic Digital in the central part of Mexico City. They say they’re color-calibrated and will even calibrate your monitor (for a fee, I would imagine).
Has anybody here had any experience with them?
It’s incredible how most of even the best-known labs in Mexico still don’t offer color calibration, but want you to spend money on test prints… A bit of a scam, really.
