canon 20d- live capture to computer?
|
Wold greatly appreciate advice for the following:
I would like to connect a canon 20d to a windows computer and have the PC download images automatically, while I am shooting new images.
Any advice on achieving this?
Thanks.

I DON’T THINK THAT THE 20 OR 30D HAVE THE CAPACITY TO DO IT, BUT CANON JUST INTRODUCED THE 40D, WHICH WILL HAVE AS AN ACCESSORY THE WFT-E3A, WHICH WOULD DO THAT WIRELESSLY!
SORRY, JUST REALIZED I’M TYPING IN CAPS!(I’M NOT SHOUTING!)

The 20D came with EOS Capture… works with EOS viewer Utility. I use a Mac, don’t know about PC. See if you can download it from Canon.

I check on their site… they have it for windows… Free.

The program is actually quite easy to use. Just load up the program, connect the camera via the USB port and start clicking away.

for fast workflow you need capture one pro (not C1 dslr because not support tethered shoot). this software faster than eos capture software. visit phaseone.com for download 30 days trial
