cheap digs in london?

Looking for a cheap place to crash (private room) in London for two nights (this coming monday and tuesday). Prefer Camden or central location, I’ve got two days to kill en route to Paris and simply want to wander the streets. Any help, suggestions greatly appreciated. Of course I’m always looking for cool places to drink and indie-rock shows if they be happening.
