The Bride Price: Consequences of Child Marriage Worldwide

ICRW invites you to join award-winning photojournalist Stephanie Sinclair as she exhibits her powerful images of child marriage Feb. 25 on Capitol Hill. Sinclairâ€™s stunning photos from Afghanistan, Ethiopia and India provide an intimate portrait of child brides and bring into focus the painful realities of this harmful tradition.
Sinclairâ€™s work has appeared in many top news outlets, including The New York Times Magazine, Time, Newsweek and U.S. News and World Report. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2007 UNICEF Photo of the Year award for her child marriage work. This one-day exhibit is open to members of Congress, congressional staff and the public.
