Color space for web galleries?

What’s the best color space to output my images for web galleries? I thought maybe sRGB was the universal standard for browsers, but I’m not sure.

sRGB is the most widely supported colorspace for browsers.

Excellent article on color spaces from Canon Digital Learning Center. The answer is sRGB for as Fons Rademarkers mentioned above.
