COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR, GLOBAL BRIGADES, INC.
This is a full-time paid internship position with the largest student-led health and development organization.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven individual, preferably with a background in marketing and basic design skills, to bring our current online media strategies to their full potential. This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of one-year commitment. A one-month training period with the previous Communications Director is required.
The Communications Director with Global Brigades works with the marketing team and oversees all online marketing efforts including our blog (brigadesblog.org), email newsletter campaign, social networking sites and various communication efforts between prospective volunteers and the leadership team (such as email inquiries from websites).

Â· Social Networking sites (Twitter, Facebookâ€¦)
Â· Community Management
Â· Tracking and analyzing metrics for all online marketing efforts
Â· Managing communication between volunteers and staff
Â· Leading new creative efforts related to online marketing
Â· Occasional design initiatives
Â· Applicant must be creative, self-starting and independent
Â· Familiar with Global Brigades
Â· Experience in tracking metrics
Â· Preferably has a background in online media, marketing and/or design, and basic skills in HTML, Adobe Creative Suites and Excel
Â· Must be able to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment

PHOTOGRAPHER / MEDIA COORDINATOR, GLOBAL BRIGADES, INC
This is a one-year paid internship with the largest student-led health and development organization.
The Photographer / Media Coordinator is in charge of photographing and shooting raw footage of all of our projects in Honduras and Panama, and later organizing and managing the media for our online platforms and marketing materials.
We are looking for a talented and creative individual with a passion for non-profit work. This position requires a one-month training period with our current Photographer and Media Coordinator.
Â· Photographing, shooting raw footage of our projects in Honduras and Panama
Â· Managing the media on our online platforms and for our marketing materials
Â· Leading new creative efforts to display and use this media
Â· Must have his or her own cameras
Â· Must have studied or have extensive experience in photography or film, and has a solid portfolio of documentary work
Â· Must be able to commit to a one-year minimum contract
Â· Must have a passion for non-profit work
Â· Must be able to juggle several projects in an organized, timely manner
