Congratulations Testa Family

Andrew, just saw your sly Alert posted, and I wanted to be the first to congratulate you on the new arrival to the family.  Brings back memories.  The birth of my daughter (fully documented, every moment of it!) was one of the most amazing experiences I have had, and I thank God every day for her presence.  Que les bendiga a todos ustedes.

Wow! You Lightstalkers rock! What a nice surprise! (wasn’t me jon). Thanks for all your good wishes,I raise an (imaginary) glass to you all. Cheers. Just back from the hospital, trying to remember how to change nappies and handle such a small fragile being again.

So who posted that alert then? I thought that was a cool way to make use of the alert, too.

Ah, I remember changing the nappies on Emily when she was so tiny - and her first bowel movement, meconia I think they call it — scared the shit out of me, no pun intended.  I spent the first week of nights by her crib, worried that she might stop breathing, she just seemed to fragile.   Course, that was silly, it was just my total ignorance that kept me up nights, but it does really force you to think about life and its beginnings.  It is also amazing how quickly their little personalities begin to express themselves.  I always say that Emily was Emily from the moment she made her appearance.
