The 2^nd DAYS International Photojournalism Awards

Two years have been passed since the monthly photojournalism magazine DAYS was launched. We have never changed our policy – telling the truth from the side of victimized citizens. Photographers who are renowned worldwide contribute to our magazine, risking their lives for a single shot.

DAYS invites photographers and journalists throughout the world to take part in the 2^nd DAYS JAPAN International Photojournalism Awards. The judges accept photographs taken between January 2004 and December 2005. Entries must be sent by mail to DAYS in Tokyo, by January 15, 2006 with a completed entry form that you may download from our website. We do not accept entries by E-mail. The final decisions will be announced on Monday, February 20, 2006.

In the 2005 awards, 3,000 works were submitted from around the world. The award-winning photographs have been exhibited all over and a great number of people are impressed by these photos.

We are confident that this is the only world-class photojournalism award in , and hope that we can make a significant contribution to the development of photojournalism.
