How to participate
As a professional photographer, you may wish to have an exhibition or a report programmed in the evening screenings at the next Visa pour l’Image festival. Here are the instructions for submitting a project. For exhibitions and for evening screening shows, please send between 50 and 150 photos on a SINGLE STORY. You may send more than one story, but each should have a minimum of 50 pictures
Send:
1 CD or DVD plus basic prints, black & white or color, e.g. thumbnails or contact sheets. IPTC fields: copyright, caption, date and place.
JPEG only. No TIFF or RAW. Please send untouched files. In the event of any doubt, the Festival reserves the right to request the RAW files. NO videotapes or interactive CDs. NO slide shows (.pps, .ppt, .mov, .mpg). NO .pdf.
1 portrait (NB. a minimum of 1400 pixels high, 150 DPI).
1 TEXT PRESENTING THE PROJECT AND INCLUDING YOUR FULL DETAILS (STORIES WITHOUT TEXT CANNOT BE CONSIDERED.)
NB: Minimum file size: minimum of 1400 pixels high, 150 DPI. No matter what format, the key requirement is the minimum of 1400 pixels high.
ANY CDS NOT MEETING THESE REQUIREMENTS CANNOT BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION.
CDS WILL NOT BE RETURNED.
Please note that we are an international festival of photojournalism focusing on news and current affairs. Please, NO art photography or series of portraits.
