decent digital pocket camera?
|
Is there a decent digital pocket camera out there? I bought a Ricoh GX200 to use when an slr wouldn’t work. Image quality is barely acceptable at iso 64/100 but not higher. too much noise. The shutter lag time with AF is much too slow, something like a half second. So, is there something out there you would recommend?
thanks!

one camera you should look at is the Olympus E-P1… we just finished up an extensive testing of the E-P1, fyi, and comparison with the DSLRs in that price range- Nikon D5000 and Canon Rebel XTi. some of my initial impressions, along with some file testing, is on the blog- http://www.h2hreviews.com/blog/
the full comparison review should be up by monday, but the first impressions of the file quality is the E-P1 doesn’t really measure up to the others, although the features are really nice. it is, however, a better file than the G10.
