Delhi Lightstalkers: In for a beer?

I just got home from Delhi last week…theres a good pj crew there in and India in genera. Try emailing Anamitra Chaklandar (that man can get anything for ya – hes connected), Mansi Midha (amazing shooter and a total sweetheart), Dhiraj Singh is in Mumbai I think, as is Kuni Takahashi and Michael Rubenstein, Dar Yasin’s in Srinagar- hes a great Kashmir contact and fantastic shooter- Dipti Desai’s down in Bangalore, and Lynsey A is also in Delhi, if you can track her down…Adam Ferguson and Keith Bedford there, too…Im sure Im forgetting loads of folks, but its a good base for South Asia and Afghanistan…just get serious a/c or move to Manali for the summer; the heat will cook you alive come May

Haha, unfortunately I’m planning to head there in mid-may. I’ll definitely be getting a room with A/C. Daniel, if you are around then I would definitely be interested in having a beer…

You might as well just get used to the heat, as air conditioners are dependent on electricity, and even in Delhi that goes off regularly, sometimes for hours. But there are many Europeans and North Americans who get used to that quirk, and live there just fine, for years….and they don’t live in hill stations.
