Yes, I don’t know what Shinji changed on the site, but it looks like all formatting, including paragraphs, has to be done in Textile markup (available by clicking on “Fromatting tips” on the Reply box. At least I have been resorting to that. Grumble, grumble….

Neal, I don`t think Textile markup is in operation, but html is. It used to be possible to embed an image as below:
But now I have to write the html equivalent of textile markup. However, it is not that difficult to relearn because it is easy to write img src=“URL of your image” and put a bracket before and after.
Al Jazeera on Gaza. I finally got to embed a shockwave-flash player as above. The tags look similar to embedded gallery at Photoshelter.com as far as embed and object tags are concerned.
Neal,
The first one, Google is in Textile Markup and the second starting with p, paragraph tags, is html. This site is in html, but there must have been a textile markup to html converter interface in posts. Now the converter is not working or removed. This is purely my guess. I looked at the source when Textile Markup worked since I had to get the source text to write my PhotoShelter list.
I recall that some posts made in html by someone got garbled (sp??) because of the converter.
