Environmental Photographer of the Year

CIWEM’s Environmental Photographer of the Year 2009 Exhibition is now on until the 18th October at 3 Bedfordbury Gallery, Covent Garden, London WC2N 4BP.

An international showcase for the very best in environmental photography, The Environmental Photographer of the Year is run by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM) to honour amateur and professional photographers. In just its 3rd year, CIWEM’s Environmental Photographer of the Year is one of the fastest growing photographic competitions in the world, with nearly 2,500 pictures entered in 2009 from over 60 countries including Serbia, Jamaica, Belarus, Zimbabwe, Turkey, Romania, India, South Africa, Australia, Israel, USA, China, Belgium, Vietnam and the UK. The exhibition includes over 40 winning and commended images.

Photographers keep copyright and we will be opening the 2010 competition shortly, with judging commencing next July.
