Environmental/conservation photography
|
I really want to start focusing my work on environmental and conservation issues. I’m just not exactly sure the best way to do this. NGO’s, maybe?
Does anyone have any experience in this field? I’m curious as what is the best route to start finding work in this area of photography.
From the work I have seen of some “conservation” photographers tends to focus on nature, animals, the arctic, and such. I’m not sure if it matters, but I would like to focus more on how environmental issues effect people and communities along with nature.
Thanks.

Bump?
Also, in general, does anyone have suggestions on how to get into the NGO photography work?
Cheers.

Hi Benjamin,
Apart from doing lots of searches online, you may find what you’re looking for at an organisation called Photo Philanthropy (www.photophilanthropy.org).
