Exhibition opening Martin Beaulieu at the National Arts Club NYc

Hello every one, yoour all invited to my exhibition next week at the National Arts Club in NYc.
See the info below. It will be a plaisure to meet you there.

From May 24th to June 8th, 2006, the National Arts Club
in New York will be presenting From Indifference to
Action… Tell Me the Story of AIDS, a photographic
exhibition by Martin Beaulieu that will leave viewers
breathless. Since 2004, critics across Europe and Canada
have praised this exhibition for its socially engaged and
artistic character.

From Indifference to Action… Tell Me the Story of
AIDS, is a look into the harsh consequences of AIDS and
the world inequalities accessing care. Driven by a desire to
contrast real life stories with the shocking statistics of
AIDS, Martin Beaulieu reminds us that behind each number
there is a real person, a family member, a friend, a lover, a
colleague… a person with dreams and aspirations.

Oh, Congratulations, Martin! What a tough essay you have done. And what a great write-up. The Times needs to Review it. I wish I could see it in person.

I wish I could make it there, too.

I love the National Arts Club and it’s building. I showed there
twice in the early 90’s. As a matter of fact, I lived right next door for
a couple years. I’m so jealous, I love that Park and the whimsical Moon scupture!

They are really good people at the National Arts Club aren’t they, and maybe you can
even sneak into the Gramercy Women’s Residence after dark. Ha-ha.. Lots of FIT and SVA ladies to meet there. :-D

Good Luck, Martin! And thanks much for the invitation.
