Expenses in Rio - Driver/Fixer rec's

Hello All,

Putting together an expense estimate for trip to Rio, and I was wondering if anyone had ideas or baseline numbers on what to expect as far as expenses?

We aren’t trying to go fancy, but would obviously like to stay someplace fairly safe (both personally and for equipment), eat a couple times a day, and hire a fixer/driver.

Any any sort of estimates for those (or other expenses I might not be thinking of) on the ground would be very much appreciated.

Names and contact info of fixers/drivers are welcome also.
