Fixer in Burkina Faso, Togo and Benin

I finishing up a project in Burkina Faso and wanted to pass on contact info for my fixer here in Ouagadougou. Stephane Barro is excellent and understands how photographers work. He has been crucial to the success of my work here. Stephane has great connection in the Information Ministry and will insist on obtaining the correct journalist documents necessary to travel freely in Burkina. He also has a great network of local fixers that can get access to some of the more remote areas. And yes, he knows the Mali border area well. Fluent in local languages and French. English adequate. 35,000 CFA/day. Can arrange good transport for 60,000 CFA/day with driver plus fuel. Prepare to 10,000 CFA/day for local guides when necessary and most meals. Not responsible for Stephane or driver’s accommodation while on the road.
