Flat or room Pasadena and NYC

Hi, I’m attending the VII seminar in Pasadena from 27 Oct to 4 Nov and need a place to stay and then NYC from 5th Nov to 12 Nov. If anyone has a reasonably priced place or suggestions for either that would be great. Thanks p
