A propósito, I have an exhibit that will be part of this year’s fotoseptiembre festival. “Luz Translation” opens on September 3 at the Salon Malafama in Mexico City at 7pm. Besides the photo exhibit there will be some mescal and good tunes.
There is more information and more imagery at http://www.luztranslation.com
Take a look when you can and stop on by.
Any other LS’ers have shows during fotoseptiembre?
|
Thanks for inviting for the opening of your exhibit at Malafama. I’ll be there!

If you can go to either Mexico City or San Antonio, it’s worth it. I was in the 2005 exhibit which is still online, unlike many photo fairs-this is mostly of Mexican or Hispanic photographers, which is great to see as their work does not always make it up north. Theres alot of talent just waiting to be seen. JPN

There are quite a few LSrs in Fotoseptiembre in San Antonio this go round.
Lance Rosenfield, Erin Trieb, Lisa Krantz and Alan Pogue will be showcased in the exhibition “In Focus: Texas Documentary Photographers” in Boerne, Texas just outside of San Antonio.
Also, David Lykes Keenan will be exhibiting his work on Vukovar, Croatia (“Vukovar”).
Keenan’s “Vukovar” show is in Boerne, Texas located in the unbelievable Texas Hill Country, so come on out, plenty of beer and cheer.
Here is a link to the catalog.

If I left anyone out chime in!
September should be a great month for all who can go to Mexico or Texas.
For those interested in coming down, I can probably find a nice place to camp or surf a couch.
Cheers,
-M
