France Grants for Photography
|
Hello there,
As you might know, here in France, the State put some money in culture.
Here you can find a list of grants, some of them applies to non-French applicants.
Reading/speking french is a plus to apply I assume, but plenty of us in LS can help you.
Hope It’ll help.
Adrian

Thanks, Adrian. The French government has a wonderful history of supporting creative and socially constructive endeavors, even when they are not always aligned with narrow French interests.
IMHO, we North Americans can learn a thing or two from their constructive management of the funding they undertake. The French government, for example, underwrites a huge portion of Visa Pour l’Image, which is a key institution in world photojournalism. And, the agency with which I am involved has had some great experiences with international projects funded by the French government.

Well Neal, I can assure you that french government has its flaws but for some things, they do some good things _
