<body>I'm flying to Cayenne/Kourou in a few weeks so I've topped up my Yellow Fever but my GP says I don't need any Malaria prevention if I keep to the coast and not venture into the darkest interior.

&quot; If you feel feverish, seek help immediately&quot; said the doc, vaguely.

I took Chloroquin in Borneo and other Malarial locations years ago but I gather it's no longer effective and my colleague is taking Malaroneso along so, do I have anything to worry about any of you who's been there recently? Any working advice about FG would be much apopreciated too.

Thanks, Richard. </body>
