I think it doesn’t work in Safari, that’s all — works fine in Firefox on this Mac. I bet they get around to it soon…

Good question — let’s say 9pm?

As a new member, can I ask what goes on at a Lightstalkers’ meeting. I am in Bedstuy so I am just 10-15 mins away. However I am just curious.
|

I haven’t got a clue what’s going to happen — this is our first time. Hope somebody remembers to bring a camera…
Faith! Not to worry, a Chicago meeting is on the horizon… I live in Uptown, after all. Tell your fellow Chicago photographers to sign up, and I’m sure we’ll have critical mass for a meeting in no time!
|
It’s a great idea so we can meet.
see you there.

heyaz. sorry to miss it, I’m bouncing through singapore, coming back from aceh again…I’ll have a drink with ya in spirit from Sri Lanka on Saturday.
shinji, say hi to shinji for me. and give maki a shout, she’ll dig Bozu(which means “baldie” btw)…so you can all sing the nursery song “teru-teru-bozu-bozu” and slug shochu shots for me.
|
ciao! that sounds exciting! i guess we will miss gigi and teru teru bozu….>_< anyway i have shoots this weekend but i will def- try to be there! can’t deny having nice japanese tapas…+ i will probably the only japanese who can tell you all the
R E A L jp deal….^0^
oh also, i’m looking for a person who is interested in giving a lecture (teru teru, i wish you were here) at an art school….talk to me if anybody interested.

wow! shinji, maki, and juhi. i feel like i should change the last letter of my first name to “i”. well, i guess it’s a vowel . . . .
|
Fantastic! I want to be there! BUT I am going to stuck here in Munich. Too much snow everywhere. There are villages not far from here with not contact to the rest of the world.
I hope somebody is going to be there and represents Germany.
Love and hugs… lightstalkers rules

Japanese Tapas in Williamsburg?! A chance to meet the people behind the postings? Sounds great! My wife and I are planning on dropping by.
We’ll miss teru-teru-bozu in the other hemisphere. Be sure he remembers that in order to coincide with the get-together, he should be starting his drinking at around 8 on Sunday morning.

hmmm….does this mean I have to leave my secure cocoon and interact with other mammals??
I’ll try to stop by….but I’m videoing some dancers that evening, and not sure when I’ll be able to get there. hopefully, everyone will be quite drunk and unable to move by the time I arrive so I won’t miss anyone.
|
Damn, and I have the last letter -i too.
The burg will be hoppin’ — enjoy everyone.

Hey everybody! Thanks a lot to everybody who came out to Bozu in Williamsburg last night; we managed to have a couple of conversations amid all the shochu and funk. In the future we’ll need more space, which is a nice problem to have, I think!
So thanks again — hope to see you all at the next meetup!
|
Thanks so much for the fun at Bosu – I had a nice time meeting everyone. Shame that the music was so loud that Shinji couldn’t call the meeting to order, but I thought having a live soundtrack to the meeting was an innovative, bold idea. Can’t wait for the next one!
Cheers

nothing special…just a few ‘no flash’ photos from my cheapie digital camera, from that memorable night at Bosu. apologies to those who did not make it into these photos; and perhaps apologies to those who did! (they are in the gallery in my profile)
:-)
|
Thanks again to everyone who came! And thanks Alan for the gallery. It’s great to hear from lightstalkers abroad, too… I think eventually we should have meetings all over the world; Williamsburg is just the beginning. We won’t forget that Lightstalkers is not a Web site; it’s an group of real-life people, talking to each other. Stay tuned!
|
have one in chicago…you could have it at dollop, the cafe where i work. ;-D
