Getting to Tacloban

Anyone know how to get a flight to Tacloban from Manila? I need to get to Leyte to cover the typhoon relief and check on a few contacts a bit inland from the airport, but it looks like the commercial flights are still grounded.

No commercial flights to Tacloban as yet, only military. I am headed there on Tuesday 20th by ship accompanying an aid mission, returning on the morning of the 22nd. Maybe an opportunity for you – I can pass contact details of organisers if required.

Bruce and Sean,

I made it in two days ago with the Marines. I am in the city and have contacts with most of the major orgs. If you need help when you hit the ground feel free to give me a text (calls are patchy) on my local cell, 0999 518 8066. I may be gone by Tuesday but I will be in Manila.
