Haiti, PaP ---- long-term stay

Can anyone suggest an apartment or a house to stay in Port-au-Prince for some doctors? A couple of young doctors are planning to stay in PaP for a few months and are looking other options rather than expensive hotels.
Thanks,
Ramin

There is still a lot of fear of aftershocks here. I am told that the Haitian government has set a date of Feb 20-something for people to begin moving back indoors. Haven’t verified that.

At any rate, getting a real place with a roof on the normal market is going to be tough for a few weeks still… Even in the relatively untouched parts of PaP.

They may want to try Wall’s International Guest house (http://www.fida-pch.org/index.php?p=20) for a longer-term temporary stay. I’m not sure what their situation is since the earthquake, though…
