Not sure if this is too expensive, but try this place – they have internet specials, and it’s a nice, clean place.

I can heartily recommend “Hotel Tiquetonne”. They brought breakfast to the doorstep, clean and comfy rooms, nice location.
The “Hotel de la Sorbonne” is a bit more costly but well worth the price and I liked the restaurants in the area.

SAINT MAURICE is not far from Paris but is not inside, it s near where i live near the Vincennes forest , ten minute by subway in Paris

I coming in Paris like freelancer, so money is not my good friend.
This days I make preparations for WORLD CUP in Germany (again like freelancer), and
final in Paris make me many financial problem.Beacuse a try to find best way to travel in Paris.
Any way, I found in this site many people with good will.

I use to stay at L’Horset near the Opera (or close to the Rex theatre, if that’s easier). Don’t know what became of it. It was bought by Howard Johnson. It’s probably owned by someother chain now, so I doubt it’s inexpensive anymore. I always enjoyed it there (I stayed there for weeks at a time.)
Nevermind, I just looked it up. It’s a Best Western Premier or somesuch nonsense at only 275 Euros a night. Sheesh.
