* My Profile My Galleries My Networks

hi, this is an idea… how about adding a mini portfolio section in profile so that people can see what you do? i’m always curious to see other people’s work….

hi maki! yes, this is definitely in the works — we’re working on a “galleries” feature, just as you described. i’m pretty booked up at the moment with work-work, but when i get some free time to work on lightstalkers, this will be next!

sounds good shinji, i’m very excited! nice to meet (e-mail?) you also…don’t you feel great to have the family team like you and teru? i do that all the time with my brother and sister …

yeah. the gallery stuff should be designed. now i’m just sippin’ on gin an’ juice, waiting to see how it plays out. :-) tho i think there were other things that i think i should also be working on . . . anyway, unfortunately i’m not family in this case. laid back . . .

do tha rocawear eugene!
what are the other things?
lean back, lean back…..

YEAH YEAH! okay okay. was that an inadvertant product placement?

the other things aren’t as exciting. better ways of organizing the view of where people are in the world is one. then there’s a few small little things that i asked shinji to do (like allow people to choose how many past message they see on the home page. instead of just 10, you can choose 10, 25, or 50, say). anyway, i’m sure there are going to be other things that will come up as this continues. thanks for writing in that suggestion though. this will only get better as people suggest things. take that and rewind it back, maki got the voice to make your booty go . . .

hey kids — yeah, those are on my list — if you guys think of anything missing from my list of things to do, lemme know!

heya kids, greetings from dubai.

one thing, people keep emailing me asking how to invite other people.
think we need a big fat “invite new peeps” button.

how’s dubai? the duty free store there must rock. anyway, can’t anyone just join? you don’t really need an invite to join do you? tho i’ll make a button for shinji anyway.

that’s true, but people keep asking. also, when you invite someone via the lightstalkers site, you are automatically added to their inner circle. people keep asking how the whole “inner circle” thing works as well. I don’t know how much more obvious we can make that beyond the “about lightstalkers” stuff, but people are pretty lazy I guess.

Dubai is one massive duty free shop. it’s actually kind of like the world’s biggest gas station cum shopping mall.

heya, can you do me a big old favor?
give my boy Ajmal in kabul a call and tell him we’re arriving at 130pm (tomorrow, sept 26) on ariana air.
his number is 0093 702 825 95 or
0093 070282 595. I’m trying to get through from here, but my sat phone isn’t charged up, and I can’t seem to get through on reg phone from here. still trying.
I was trying to get you on AIM, but this computer isn’t getting through somehow.

yo. is the dude going to be awake? what time should i call him from here? what’s the time difference? 10 hours ahead or something?

aight T. i tried both numbers and i couldn’t get through. :-( i guess you’ll be arriving soon and hopefully the pay phones at the airport will work. :-/ hope you had a good flite.

Yeah, ok — I’ll make inviting new people (i.e., making it more obvious how to do it) another high priority.

I think Kabul is EST+9.5 (9.5 hours ahead of NYC).

yeah. i did a quick google search and found http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ so i’ll never be late again! well, not really.

holla, peeps. it’s all good. I’m in kabul. staying with ajmal at the “Everest Guest House and Pizza Restaurant”. Ajmal picked me up at the airport, which had been nicely cleared of blown up helicopters and landmines. He was driving a Toyota 4 runner and handed me his extra mobile phone. my little afghanistan is growing up. its good to be home.
