<body>has anyone else found the controls in aperture to be a bit off the mark? i know that aperture isnt meant to replace photoshop but it seems rather imprecise for all the money it costs.

for example, when i edit a .raw image that contains, among other things, a bright blue sky with a few white puffy clouds, a modest contrast adjustment nearly always results in a weird shade appearing around the clouds. in photoshop, or even in lightroom, this doesnt happen. im not a big fan of aperture's &quot;shadows&quot; function either (photoshop's &quot;fill light&quot; seems to work much better).

i have read the countless posts on the pros and cons of aperture but havent come across this issue. sound familiar to anyone?

Best,
Dave</body>
