Interested in Cambodia?

Happy to announce that Ka-set.info, a truly independent newssite about Cambodia and Cambodians abroad, is now, besides Khmer and French, also available in English here.

Bob: the translator French to English is Véronique Ellul. She has no journalistic background (yet). But I’m sure she’ll improve on that very quickly. The translator from French to Khmer is AN Sopheak, but I doubt that you can appreciate his writing ;-) (just like me) .

The process goes as follows: all the writers write in French, be they French or Cambodian. When it is a Cambodian writer, everything has to be rewritten in French by a French native editor. The French text is then translated in Khmer and in English…

One Khmer guy asked me to advertise of Cambodia to everyone, and I do it all the time, also to photographers. Cambodia is great place for photogs. I was there as a turist for few days only, but now I know I have to come back there someday for real work. And I will recomended to every photographer.
here is link to a few snaps from cambodia.
