IP addresses in Dubai/UAE

Hey all — as you know we’ve been beefing up defenses against a variety of spam attacks. Among other things, we’re banning the IP addresses of known spammers, some of whom have been originating in Dubai.

Consequently, we’ve learned that Dubai and UAE have a severe shortage of IP addresses. Without getting into the technical details of it, here’s the news: If you’re in Dubai or UAE, you have a relatively high probability of sharing an IP address with known spammers, and you may find yourself blocked from certain Lightstalkers features.

If this happens to you, don’t panic. It’s simply a side-effect of our spam-fighting efforts. Send us an email at support@lightstalkers.org informing us of the problem, and we’ll make sure you can get to the features you need.
