I made it and I have to say it was amazing… a full house… even Jem´s parents were there…
They showed some great films and never before seen outtakes and clips, my favorite being John Cohen´s documentary “That High Lonesome Sound”. The conversation was very free association and they meandered between stories and debate – all of them very passionate.. obviously. An amazing night for independent thinkers… they finished off with one of John Cohen´s recordings of a Peruvian woman singing a wedding song (the same recording that was included in the Voyager Golden Record sent into space in 1977… we heard it in the dark.. nice touch)
