Lightstalkers Gallery

Is there any idea if the personal gallery limit will be expanded again?

Only two ways: one, provide a link to LS from your own website,a nd two, create a link to your Flickr account, and the a certain number of the most recently uploaded to that site will appear under your LS gallery as well.  We need to conserver server space.

I agree with Bob. 30 pictures seem very adequate. Most photographers have some sort of gallery off-premises with a link to them in their profile. If the photographs in the LS gallery are compelling, I’m sure they will also visit their off-site gallery.

I should have directed this question towards the only one person that could provide a straight answer.

I thought I did give you a straight answer: you can expand the number of images in gallery if you provide a link.  LS will allow you to upload a total of 30; you can also add a few more via Flickr.  since you obviously have already done the former, the only other way to expand is by bringing them in via Flickr.  LS has to limit space.  End of story

Jehad:  I guess the simple answer then is ‘no’.  Flickr ( www.flickr.com ) is actually a good tool.  You have some Blog space, file space for photos, contacts, etc and all for free.  They NEVER delete your photos (unless you anger them), although they only post your most recent 200 pix.

You can rotate your photos here, but think of it more as a "window" into your work and Lightstalkers itself more as a resource, then a gallery.

I know, probably nothing you wanted to hear.

Take care,
