Raymond Kolubah Zarbay Jr is one of the best fixers I have ever worked with. He is very knowledgeable, and an experienced journalist with a great network of contacts. He will keep you safe and he also has his own car.

He has been a radio and newspaper journalist for years and is relatively well known in Liberia. Most recently he has been working for the UN radio station in Monrovia and been doing journalism training course on behalf of Amnesty International as well as working as a fixer.

Raymond is a very nice guy too, easy to work with and good fun to be around.

Hi Greg,
I think the fixer list is a great idea. i have just return from an assignment in Djibouti and have some bad experience with a fixer, well whatever he may be. So I would recommend you also include in your list fixers that should be avoided such as the one I had to deal with. So if anyone goes to Djibouti I definitely warn to stay away from Daniel Jean who also run a sort of travel agency called Bamboo Travel. Although he is knowledgeable of the country he actually rip people off. He charges unreasonable fee and he is never clear about logistic as to confuse you with how much he is going to charge you later. Basically he is a lier. He even try to charge me for services he has never done for me.
I have been in this job for almost 20 years and never actually bumped in a “fixer” like this before.

I would like to recommend using Boully Galissa because he is hard working, reliable, honorable and a very good at what he dos. In fact, he is the best fixer I have ever used. He has a way with people that is quite unique.
