Looking for a fixer in Europe

I’m looking for a fixer in the UK, Germany, Spain, France, Netherlands, and Poland who speaks the local language as well as English fluently.

We are launching into a major project to create a documentary style video about the way that people consume/watch TV now that the internet has changed access to video content. We are looking for a Fixer who can connect us with 3-4 local people for interviews, help translate when needed, and act as a guide for the 1-2 days we are in town conducting interviews.

If this is something you can help with, please respond with contact information (email) and I can follow-up directly for cost estimates.

Lizzie, you might want to write up a little bit more about yourself and your organization. Journalists don’t cough up contact info for their prize fixers to strangers.

Neal, thanks for the advice- I’m new to this site and understand the value of transparency and a the value of a great fixer!

Simon, Pep, and Tina. I will get in touch via email to give you more detail on the project.

We’ve also just extended the project to include Nigeria and South Korea (I will post shortly). Please let me know if you know someone in those local area. It’s going to be a quick toe-dip in each country, so it will be even more valuable to have someone who will be able to connect us with the right people.

HI Lizzie, I work as a freelance photographer (editorial, PR) and am currently in South Germany for the next 2 weeks. I have a car and speak both German and English (mother tongue). Not too many contacts here however, as I am based in Beijing, China. But if you need someone here, drop me a line with more details and I see what we can do.

Thank you all for the replies! I wanted to mention on the thread that we are now in fieldwork and therefore have arranged fixers in all the needed locations. I will make sure to keep all contact info and get in touch with future projects. Thanks so much! This website is such a help.
