aight y’all.
shinji’s in new york this week, so we’re on “elevated” crunk alert.
thursday night, he’ll be holding court in brooklyn at:
M Shanghai Bistro & Den
129 Havemeyer Street (between Grand and South 1st)
Williamsburg, Brooklyn 718 384-9300
L to bedford, or J to Marcy.
say nine-ish. you’ll recognize him by the smoking jacket and the silk ascott, and the ethernet cables coming out of the back of his neck.
all secrets of the internet shall be revealed.
also, we’ll be launching two new site features, the LS Time Machine, as well as the LS Death Ray. It’ll be a good night to stay on our side of the river.

Hi there
I’m new on this site and this is my first post.
I always love a party but this one seems a bit far from my base home, Bogota.
Anyway, have fun.
I wonder if any of you know something about CONGO, DRC, former Zaire. I got an assignment there but the magazine is asking me to send an expenses list.
Anyone been there recently, eastern Congo, Bunia, Bukavu, etc.
I’m trying to find accomodations prices, car prices, translators prices, etc.
i know all changes by the day over those places.
Also any info on visas? I’m planing to get in through Kigali, Rwanda and travel north towards Bunia.
Do you need a visa to Rwanda, Congo? can you get those at arrival?
Best,
Carlos.

Was that Teru I saw at the ICP student show opening on Friday? Wearing a jumpsuit, looking ready to paratroop into some dangerous situation?
If it was, now I regret saying hello. I was too chicken.

wasn’t me, but it sounds like a good look. I’m picturing something with black nikes or oxblood DMs?
Perhaps it was one of the other half-japanese photographers, there are a surprising number of them (although word on the street is that Pat Hattori is really like part eskimo or something).

This particular person was a dead ringer for your bio photo, which is why I asked.
Perhaps he is your doppelganger.
