Magazine request for pix

This was sent to me by a friend. His email is at the bottom.Go forth.
I recently joined the editorial collective of a publication called Left Turn Magazine (www.leftturn.org).  Its a magazine of radical politics and activism.  I would love to be able publish some of your photos.  Our magazine has a lot of international coverage, especially the Middle East, and especially Iraq and Palestine.  Your work would be perfect for the magazine.

We are an all-volunteer collective, and we can’t pay contributors at this time.  However, we offer great exposure and a lot of gratitude.  Also, its for a good cause.  Our magazine’s purpose is to build and support movements. Glamor Magazine has named Left Turn “Best Political Magazine”.  For the second year in a row, Left Turn Magazine has been awarded 3 Project Censored Awards for its reporting and analysis ignored or distorted by the corporate media.  (Project Censored is a media research group which tracks the news published in the independent press. From these, Project Censored compiles an annual list of 25 news stories of social significance that have been overlooked, under-reported or self-censored by the countrys major national news media).  From movements in Palestine, South Africa and Argentina to local community organizing here in the US, Left Turn has covered these issues by having activists and community members present their perspectives and stories.  The other recipients of Project Censored awards are well established and staffed alternative publications like The Nation, Mother Jones and The Progressive.  Left Turn is put out by an all volunteer staff of grassroots activists and organizers. Between issues of the magazine, check out Left Turn’s website for additional analysis, insights on current events, and commentary. Check out www.leftturn.org for continually updated information, archives of past Left Turn magazine articles, and more.
